No matter how cute.... please resist
the pet store puppy! All puppies purchased from a pet store
come from a puppy mill, and EVERY puppy purchased from a pet
store creates a demand that condemns that puppy's mother to
a life of hell.
Visit the resources below to learn more about the puppy mill
trade, and how to help stop this abuse. |

| Stop
Puppy Mills - Web site operated by The Humane Society of
the United States. Puppy mills are nothing new. These mass dog-breeding
operations have been around for decades, but they continue to
be a problem because unsuspecting consumers keep buying those
adorable puppies in the pet store window. Or on some slick Internet
site. Or even through an ad in the trusted local newspaper.

| What
is a Puppy Mill? - Many stories and
photos of how a puppy mill dog lives -- if you can call this
living. Websites links of national and international humane
organizations who are waging campaigns against this abuse. Sample
letters you can write to your local editor and your legislators
asking them to pass laws against large commercial breeding operations,
animal auctions, and petshop sales. |

Mill Rescue - Puppy Mill Rescue, is
an internet-based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Created
to locate, foster, vet, and place in forever loving homes, purebred
dogs previously used as breeders in Puppy Mills and Commercial
Kennels. We house feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical
attention for, and spay/neuter the dogs rescued from a life
of pain. |
